The Welcome Desk manages the telephone hotline and the e-mail inbox of the Hamburg Welcome Center and provides information on all services offered by the center.

Opening hours

Changed opening hours of the reception (1st floor) from March 11, 2024:

Monday: 9 am to 12 pm
Tuesday: 9 am to 3 pm
Wednesday: 9 am to 12 pm
Thursday: 10 am to 3 pm
Friday: 9 am to 12 pm

Book an appointment with the Hamburg Welcome Center for Professionals

To book an appointment for your application for a residence permit, you can call the following number: +49 (0) 40 42839-5500. 

Office hours:

Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm
Friday from 9 am to 12 noon.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to process residence law matters (e.g. fictional certificates, work permits, etc.) without an appointment! Please note the information in this information sheet.
