About Us

The Welcome Desk is part of the Authority of Economy, Labour and Innovation and is responsible for reception, the telephone hotline and the Hamburg Welcome Center's email inbox. It also provides information about all the services offered by the center.

Opening hours

Changed opening hours of the reception (1st floor) from March 11, 2024:

Monday: 9 am to 12 pm
Tuesday: 9 am to 3 pm 
Wednesday: 9 am to 12 pm
Thursday: 10 am to 3 pm
Friday: 9 am to 12 pm

 

You can reach the telephone hotline during the following office hours:

Monday: 1 pm to 3 pm
Wednesday: 1 pm to 3 pm
Thursday: 4 pm to 6 pm

Matters relating to residence permits

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to process matters regarding residence permits (e.g. fictional certificates, work permits, etc.) without an appointment!
