About Us

The Information Centre Labour Mobility at Arbeit und Leben Hamburg offers counselling and assistance to employed persons from all EU countries, especially from the Eastern European states, on issues related to labour law.


Our Services

The Information Centre Labour Mobility offers information and support for employed persons from all EU countries on issues concerning

  • Rights and duties as an employee or self-employed person
  • Wages, salaries and standard rates
  • Working hours
  • Labour and social security, health care
  • Dismissal protection
  • Delegation of employees to other countries
  • Temporary leasing of employees
  • General issues on income tax law

The Information Centre does not provide legal services, but may consult lawyers. The Information Centre also offers preventive information on the topic of labour law.

Counselling is provided in the language of the person seeking advice. We speak German, English, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Spanish and Russian.
