The Service Center for the Free Movement of Workers of Arbeit und Leben Hamburg offers counselling and assistance to employed persons on issues relating to labour law.

About Us

The Service Center for the Free Movement of Workers of Arbeit und Leben Hamburg offers counselling and assistance to employed persons from all EU countries, especially from the Eastern European states, on issues related to labour law.

 

Our Services

The Service Center for the Free Movement of Workers offers information and support for employed persons from all EU countries on issues concerning

  • Rights and duties as an employee or self-employed person
  • Wages, salaries and standard rates
  • Working hours
  • Labour and social security, health care
  • Dismissal protection
  • Delegation of employees to other countries
  • Temporary leasing of employees
  • General issues on income tax law

The Service Center does not provide legal services, but can refer you to lawyers. The information center also provides preventive information on all aspects of labor law and offers awareness-raising programs for multipliers.

Counselling is provided in the language of the person seeking advice. We speak German, English, Polish, Romanian, Italian, Bulgarian, Spanish and Russian.
