AWO AQtivus Labour Market Service

The Labour Market Service provided by AWO AQtivus connects Hamburg-based companies and interested applicants with the aim of integrating skilled immigrants into the labour market. To this end, we seek suitable professional internships with the prospect of employment. We accompany and support you during the application process and beyond. This service is free of charge for those seeking advice.

About Us

AQtivus is the labour market service by the AWO, the German Workers’ Welfare Association.
We provide immigrant professionals and immigrants living in Hamburg with advice and support for integrating into the Hamburg labour market.

 

Our Services

We offer advice for skilled immigrant workers in their search for professional internships and jobs. We also provide guidance in

  • the assessment of their skills and competences 
  • optimising your application documents and providing training in job search and interview techniques.
  • the search for internships and jobs matching their profiles, including the preparation for job interviews.

After successful placement, we offer support for at least another six months.
