AWO AQtivus Labour Market Service

We offer support for immigrants in their professional integration into the Hamburg labour market.

The AWO AQtivus Labour Market Service connects applicants with Hamburg companies, focusing on the professional integration of skilled immigrant workers. You will get support finding suitable professional internships with the prospect of being retained for the job. We offer guidance and advice during your application process and beyond. This service is free of charge to anyone seeking advice.


About Us

AQtivus is the labour market service by the AWO, the German Workers’ Welfare Association.
Our goal: integrating skilled immigrant workers into the Hamburg labour market in the long term.


Our Services

We offer advice for skilled immigrant workers in their search for professional internships and jobs. We also provide guidance in

  • the assessment of their skills and competences 
  • the compilation of application documents
  • the search for internships and jobs matching their profiles, including the preparation for job interviews.

After successful placement, we offer support for at least another six months.
