With Accelerated Skilled Worker Procedures, the legislative authorities have created a transparent and plannable procedural option for companies that want to quickly hire a skilled worker from abroad. The procedure, which also includes the recognition of foreign qualifications, is carried out within specified deadlines between the authorised company and the HWCP team.
About Us
The department 'Entry for Employment' is part of the ‘Hamburg Welcome Center for Professionals’ section of the Office for Migration (Amt für Migration) of the Ministry of the Interior and Sport (Behörde für Inneres und Sport).
Our Services
- Advising Hamburg companies who wish to employ a specialist from abroad or to train a person from abroad.
- Implementation of Accelerated Skilled Worker Procedures, including coordination of the recognition procedure and obtaining approval for employment from the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
- Granting of pre-approval for accelerated appointment allocation and visa issuance at the diplomatic mission abroad.
- Processing of participation requests from German diplomatic missions abroad for visa procedures for the purpose of gainful employment.
