The Hamburg Welcome Center is a central point of contact for all matters relating to the integration into the labour market of people who are planning on immigrating or have already immigrated to Hamburg, as well as for for companies and employers.

The Hamburg Ministry of Work, Health, Social Affairs, Family and Integration, the Ministry of the Interior and Sport, the Employment Agency and the Job Center team.arbeit.hamburg work hand in hand under one roof to support you in cooperation with other organisations.

Supplementary document to the residence permit

Admissibility of the exercise of employment

To book an appointment for your application for a residence permit, you can call the following number: +49 (0) 40 42839-5500

Office hours:

Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm
Friday from 9 am to 12 noon.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to process residence law matters (e.g. fictional certificates, work permits, etc.) without an appointment! Please note the information in this information sheet.
